My curtain sizes do not match regular ready made curtains, what can I do?

You can use our Made to Measure service for an exact size of curtains and blinds, just fill out the details and we will provide a quote for you.

How do I know you have the stock to send?

Shop for the items you want and add it to your shopping cart. When you have finished, you can proceed to your shopping cart and check out. Check and ensure that all information is correct before confirming your purchases and payment.

Our regular lines will be ordered in if out of stock and most take approximately 3-6 working days for delivery. If there is a delay with any order we will advise you straight away.

What are thermal lined curtains?

Thermal lined curtains are usually double or triple layers, and the thermal lining has heat retention properties. They can help keep out drafts from windows and are a popular choice for anyone looking for ways to reduce their heating bill in winter, but also keep hot air out by reflecting it outside in the warmer months. Because of their thickness, they are the most effective at muffling noise from outside if you live in a built-up area or near a busy road.

Will the fabric arrive rolled or folded?

4m and under will be folded, any larger orders will be rolled.

When can I expect receive my order?

Most items in stock are sent as a standard 3 to 5 delivery time. If we need to order in your chosen fabric or product we will send you an approximate delivery date once the order has been placed, this is usually 7 to 10 days alternatively please get in touch prior to placing your order.

Made to order items take a little longer usually 3 weeks

Do you ship Internationally?

At present we only ship to the UK, for some areas within the UK there is an additional surcharge, IE Chanel Isles

What happens if I am not in when the courier comes?

If you are not home when the courier attempts delivery, they will leave a card with instructions on what to do next. With most deliveries they will re-attempt the following working day.

If after 2 delivery attempts Parcelforce or Fedex have not heard from you then it will be held for a number of days before being returned to us. If a re-delivery is requested there may be an additional charge for this.

Can I return Items, if so how?

Once a piece of fabric has been cut specifically for you it cannot be returned. We would therefore urge you to use our free sample service first to check colour ways prior to ordering the fabric.

For other products such as ready made curtains, cushions and other products you can return in the specified timeframe, please send us an email found here and we will advise how to return the item. Returns are at your own cost.

Can you wash lined curtains in the washing machine?

Some curtains can be hand washed or dry cleaned but check the fabric first for care instructions, and don’t forget to also check care instructions for the linings as they are often a different fabric and can shrink when wet.

What is blackout curtain lining?

Blackout curtain lining is a popular choice for bedrooms as it is thicker than a standard curtain lining so blocks out light, a great choice for children's bedrooms.

What is Interlining?

Interlining is an extra layer of fabric that sits between the outer fabric and the lining and is popular if you need to add weight to a lighter fabric so that the curtains hang better, and they are more effective at insulating a room. Interlining gives the curtains a full and luxurious look. Used a the basic standard by many professional interiors designers.

What is curtain lining?

Curtain lining is an extra layer of fabric that is attached to the back of a curtain. Our curtains are always lined, it can transform your curtains from something decorative to having a valued function. Choosing the correct lining for your curtains means you can block out unwanted light, save on energy costs by keeping a room insulated in the winter, and reduce outside noise.

Curtain lining is also a popular choice if you want fuller looking curtains, to add shape, or by opting for a patterned lining you can ensure your curtains look as good from the outside as they do from inside.

What if I need my fabric to be fire retardant?

Some of our fabrics are already treated and this will be mentioned in the description or extra info.

Other fabrics can often be treated to either Domestic or Contract requirement We can add this as an option if required and costs will be provided on request.

Always check with your upholsterer first as they can advise you whether you need your fabric treated or if you can use a barrier cloth.

Do you stock all fabrics shown on the website in your showrooms?

We do not hold stock of all items it is best to call first before visiting the showroom, we do offer a free sample service to help with your selection.

How can I tell which fabrics are suitable for which purpose?

Information about the suitability of the fabrics is stated in the description on each fabric. You can also refine your fabric search by usage, for example curtains/blinds or upholstery.

Do you provide an upholstery service?

We provide a complete curtain making service, but not an upholstery service. We can recommend local upholsterers when required.

Do your readymades come in all sizes?

We hold an extensive range, but please be aware that ready-mades are mass produced in only a selected number of widths and drops; they prove highly economical and are usually a great choice for property lets, short term curtains and secondary rooms.

What happens if my parcel arrives damaged?

In the unfortunate event that the parcel arrives and is damaged in transit you must sign for the parcel as being damaged and advise us immediately or by 1pm the day after delivery, so that we can instigate a claim with the delivery company. We will then start to get things sorted out for you.
